Ring size guide.
How to measure your ring size & additional info
-
It is essential that you measure correctly the ring size that you would like to get.
For rings especially, I do not create large quantities to see if they all sell. Instead, I make each piece on demand. Every single one was made just for you. I love this process because it allows me to place extra love dedicated just for you during the creation, but also to not over-create unnecessarily.
Resizing a ring after making it, for me can take as much time as it took to create it in the first place. Most rings are in fact, impossible to resize, so I remake them fully for you.
Hence, it means a lot that you take the time to provide me with your correct size. -
The best way to measure your ring size is with a jewelry maker. Either me, during my workshops in Brussels, or the closest creator around you. This technique is the absolute safest option. You will find a converting table below, which can help you in case the measuring person provides you with a size you don’t recognize when you order on my website.

The second most secure option is to purchase a reusable ring sizer on my webshop. I will ship it to you, and you can check all your finger sizes. You can then lend it to friends so that as many people as possible can use this little tool.

This is an option I like less because it often creates mistakes, but just in case, you can also use a ring you already have which fits the finger you desire, and measure its inside diameter to know its size. Feel free to send me pictures of your ruler beneath your ring so I can confirm your size!
Finally, make sure that the ring is not an ajustable ring because it often confuses the results.

Please, never estimate or guess. Do not assume that because you know your index finger is a size 54, your smaller middle finger is a 53 and ring finger 52. Or that the index finger on one hand is the same size as the other hand. I would say that estimations have been wrong about 90% of the time. Therefore, I really do not recommend this option.
Any other technique such as using a little thread or cord, or a ruler around your finger is not recommended either.

Yes, because I will never oblige you to stay with a ring which you cannot wear because it is too big or too small. The philosophy of Emwa Jewelry is to encourage you to absolutely wear as much as you can the jewelry you purchase.
Yet, I make each ring on demand, just for you. Most rings are in fact, impossible to resize, so when asked, I make them fully again. I therefore, really appreciate customers who take the time to make super sure their size is correct, and understand that a resize means asking me to redo the whole work I just did, for free this time. Good to note, resizing a ring can also therefore, take the same time it took in the first place to make it.
This being said, I will always find solutions anyways, if your piece does not fit you, I promise.
